Title: Import multiple folders

I have a large number of  raw files from my archive to move into lightroom2.  I've been importing them a folder at a time, copying folders to the Lightroom Library.   Is there a way to import multiple folders?  Is there anyway to simply drag the folder into lightroom?

Not sure of the folder structure that you have, but if you have the main folder showing up in Lightroom you can right-click on that folder in the left panel of the Library module and select 'Synchronize' and that will import everything new within that folder, including any subfolders.
