It would seem it is a Japan only product, due out in December at 70.000 Yen list price. They are promoting actively at the moment.
Pretty innovative, Tom Cruise will love it.

Sorry, but that has to be the single most irritating web page I´ve ever been to.....
Didn´t have the patience to hear those cricket sounds for more than a minute without even seeing what it was all about.
If Nikon thinks this is good sales promotion, they´re in trouble....
Bernard, no hard feelings, I hope! But how about giving a hint about what the product is?

Hey, no problem, I am not a Nikon person. Besides, the sound if off on my Pc all the time, I didn't notice the sound.
It is a wifi/USB bmultimedia player, with a high res screen "in the eye" and a built in high quality (or supposedely so) head phone.
Cheers,
Bernard

All I'm getting is a totally black screen--there's nothing there.

It is a flash site, don't now whether that is the issue.
It could be that they check for the IP address of the client and only send content to Japanese clients since the site is in Japanese only.

I'm sitting in a hotel room in Tokyo so that might help, but the product looks interesting!

Of course this taps into a huge DBZ worldwide fan-base. I could be the next Vegeta.

I actually waited for the flash content to download (sheesh!) but could make neither heads nor tails of what it does.
But if this device turns out to be some kind of a WiFi hub that functions as a slick hands-free remote viewer and VOX-operated release for taking images with my D300 with WT4a WiFi transmitter attached, previewing with Live View, now that's something I could really warm up to.
