Anyone know whether the new wireless grip thing is supposed to be any easier to configure than the older WFT-e1a one? Apparently you needed to have a dual degree in electirical engineering and computer science to configure the old one. Thx.

I have the wireless thingy for the 1Ds MK3. It never really worked reliably after I went through the pain of trying to configure it. The documentation quite frankly sucks.

I haven't managed to get it working at all with my HP notebook and Windows XP that I wanted to use for location work. I gave up on it after spending around 10 hours trying to get it to work.
