I use a 40d with my 85 1.2 and find that the only focus point that is accurate enough to use with this lens is the center one. Focus and recompose is not an option as the depth of field to small at 1.2 for this to work, so I wind up having to center my subject in every shot and then crop to compose in LR. This sucks as a technique. I've tried focusing manually but with little luck. Am I missing something here? Do people use the matt focus screen with this lens? I would be interested in other user's experience.
