Hi folks,
Please help with this one ?
I have recently set up a brand new canon MP610 Printer and the colours are very different from my monitor. Let me explain Firstly my monitor is professionaly caliberated (using xrite) and I have also have done paper profiles to match various papers including canon paper. All the papers I use is printer profiled by me using xrite product.
I softproof view my images for the appropriate paper I am going to print on and when I print I always let photoshop CS3 manage the colours I make sure ICM is disabled in printer settings I use perceptual intent in CS3 and my workspace is sRGB as my camera uses this when I shoot jpeg. I am very aware of colour management how it works and the settings required etc.. within CS3
I also have a canon pixma IP4300 and use exactly the same method of colour accuracy and printing and the colours match the screen almost perfectly.
Yet when I print using the new MP610 the colours are way way off nothing like my monitor.
I look forward to your replies
Regards Pete
