Title: A couple from Switzerland
Post by: Jeremy Roussak on September 14, 2008, 01:41:21 pm
Taken with a 20D, 17-85 EF-S. The mountain shot is stitched using PS3 from 3 vertical images.

Comments welcome.

I really like the b&w image.  My only suggestions are to increase contrast slightly and crop out the sliver of sky in the URH corner.

The composition of the mountain image is quite nice.  Moody sky, interesting storm light and a beautiful scene.  I might increase the saturation a touch but that's a minor critique.

Nice work!

I agree, except I'd clone in more mountain and make the sky 'disappear'.  I think if you crop the image from the top to remove the sky you'd get the top step too close to the top of the image.  Ditto from the right - you'd be cutting into the top step.

My $0.02
