Title: Epson driver Color Matching option ?
Post by: fred888 on August 17, 2008, 08:39:01 am
Hi,
I'm printing using CS3 to the recent "16bit" Epson driver.
When setting "Photoshop manage color" on CS3, the color matching menu on the Epson driver show the colorsync option checked and both Colorsync and Epson option are greyed and there is no more "No color management" option.
The "No Color Adjustment" is now on the Color setting option on the Basic tab in the print settings menu.

The question is it normal that in the Summary menu, in the Color Matching section the option is shown to be set to Colorsync even though in the print settings section the color option is shown to be set to Off ?

I find this a little confusing and so drive me to doubt...

doubt what? if it used C/sync over the top of CS3 CM the difference would be massive.

c/sync is just a throw back from older mac days. new drivers bypass it completely.
