Title: B9180 printing like crap
Post by: DarkPenguin on August 16, 2008, 10:49:07 pm
So on the Print Quality Diagnostics Page I get some odd stuff.  No thin white lines but I do have some oddities around the top of some of the colors.

I'm not entirely sure this is aligned right although I have run the alignment thingy.

My print heads are original (about 2 years old) so I'm wondering if they are bad.

Someone mentioned pulling them and running some water over them.  I can't find my manual so I'm not sure this is a good idea or a bad idea.

Very odd.

The cost of printheads and ink is about the same as buying an R1900 right now.

So far I've cleaned the NEDD and things are looking up.  All 4 print heads are now listed as good again.  (vs fair or worse.)
