Is there a way to adjust the values of temperature and tint associated with the white balance defaults? I find the red tint preference of LR's daylight setting (for my camera and calibrated monitor, at least), a bit red for my taste.

I'm not sure if this is what you're asking, but if you have a custom preset say for white balance and you change the settings associated with that preset, you can right-click on the preset and select 'Update with Current Settings'.

Thanks Mike, that wasn't precisely what I was asking (I was saying, "when I use the WB pulldown and specify daylight I always get 5500/10 and I'd prefer 5500/5) but using a custom preset actually does solve my problem. Thanks!
