Title: Lost History States After Export
Post by: nkag on August 06, 2008, 04:23:37 pm
I have just begun to use Lightroom 2 recently and am fairly new to it.  Working with the files within Lightroom is great but I'm running into a strange problem when I export the files to Photoshop.  When I go back to the original RAW file in Lightroom, all of the history states are gone and the only thing that appears is "Edit in External Application."

I'm working on a Mac and when I locate the original RAW file on my harddisk in Finder,  it seems to have the settings applied from Lightroom into the RAW.  For example, if I've applied a crop in Lightroom and then export that file to Photoshop, when I go to the RAW on my harddisk, it is a cropped RAW file (at least this is what I see when I open that RAW in Preview).

Am I missing something or is this standard for Lightroom?

Ah nevermind!  I just expanded stacks and found the originals.  Phew...Feel like an idiot but happy nonetheless.
