Howtek HiResolve 8000 drum scanner
The 8000 is a true 16 bit scanner from the analog convertor to the final image. The minimum aperture is 3.2 microns just like the premier which it can be physically upgraded to for 19k. The premier is around 40k new and the price is rising.
The scanner is currently located at Aztek in California where the unit was just serviced and has been tested to work perfectly. The drum should be replaced, and the software / mounting station are not included. Aztek's digital photolab software is currently available used at www.promarketinc.com for $1295. I have a shipping crate that I purchased from Aztek which the buyer can borrow for transportation.
All reasonable offers will be considered.
