Title: Metadata deletion/deleter
Post by: mbalensiefer on July 28, 2008, 05:02:06 am
I am looking for a MD editor that can remove all metadata information. None I've found so far remove "all" of it. It seems as if some files can "protect" their metadata?? Can anyone confirm?

I usually use EXIF Tag Remover, freeware  from http://www.rlvision.com (http://www.rlvision.com/exif/about.asp)

If you're a Lightroom user, there's a plug-in by Jeffrey Friedl called Metadata Wrangler (http://regex.info/blog/lightroom-goodies/metadata-wrangler/). It allows you to export your images from LR with all or some of the metadata stripped from them.

It looks quite capable, based on my limited use of it so far.
