Title: LCD2690WUXiSV v
Post by: larkis on July 22, 2008, 05:14:53 pm
The NEC LCD2690WUXiSV monitor comes with a Gretag Macbeth Eye-One Display 2 color meter which was re branded for NEC. Does anyone know if this can be used on other monitors as well or if the NEC branded version only works with their software  ?

Reason i'm asking is because i'm considering purchasing this screen as my secondary monitor and would like to use the calibrator to calibrate both my 30" apple cinema display as well as the NEC. I know the Gretag version is designed to work with all monitors since it does not come bundled with one. Does anyone have the NEC and managed to calibrate another display with it ?

It should work with i1Match profiler, just like Eye-One LT - in a basic mode.
