Title: nikon tethered rotation problem

hi,

im shooting into LR through Nikon Capture Control with no problems, but because im not an avid user of LR my images [when shooting portrait] are importing landscape, and is very annoying tilting my head all the time.  any way to make the images rotate 90' as they import?

Also, is there any way to apply an adjustment [e.g. my white point] to all the images as they come in?

as i said, i only use lightroom for capture so i know very little ...

friml,

 I am no guru,but I will try. I have only used the watched folder feature for scanned photos. For the image to appear in correct rotation in LR it must be written to the hard drive in the correct rotation. LR does not recognize any proprietary camera settings.

 I am unfamiliar with Nikon's tethering software, but isn't there a function for auto rotate as there is in the camera? Do you have autorotate turned on in the camera?
 
 I believe you can set a white balance preset and have it applied as the photo is imported. Again, I haven't tried this myself.

 These are some of my thoughts, for what they are worth. If they help I am very pleased.
