Title: Epson 3800
Post by: Jeremy Roussak on May 07, 2008, 06:40:28 pm
I'm now the proud owner of an Epson 3800. One thing I've not discovered from the manual is Epson's recommendation about leaving it on or turning it off.

If I'm not going to use it for a few days or a couple of weeks, should I turn it off? Or does it do useful things to itself if left on?

It's in a warmish attic room, not particularly dry (nowhere in Manchester is particularly dry at any time of the year!).

Thanks, Eric. For some reason, I'd completely forgotten about your fantastically helpful site when I posted my message last night. Too much wine, probably.
