Post by: Alter Nereus on April 18, 2008, 10:38:14 am
For all you D3 owners who perhaps haven't heard that there is a problem with the latest firmware release, or maybe have attempted to locate it on the web, please be advised that Nikon have pulled this release due to technical problems. For full details and Nikons press release see here: http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/content_p...?cid=7-9309-941 (http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/content_page.asp?cid=7-9309-941) 0

Your link doesn't work.  Here is what Nikon Europe says about the firmware recall:  [a href=\"http://nikoneurope-en.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/nikoneurope_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=24539]http://nikoneurope-en.custhelp.com/cgi-bin...p?p_faqid=24539[/url]

I wonder if the updated version will include the D3x file sizes (http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1021&message=27581087) that appeared in the now recalled firmware update.
