Title: Mamiya 645 Teleconverter Question
Post by: Paul2660 on April 10, 2008, 02:38:58 pm
I am trying to determine if Mamiya has two different tele-converters.

For the 200mm Manual focus lens, f2.8, white barrel, everyone references this tele-converter--Mamiya 645 Series 2X Extender N-2

However when you look up Mamiya teleconverters, all you can find is the
Mamiya 2x N.

I would like to use the 200mm manual focus lens, but want to know if the Mamiya 2x N tele-converter will fit it.

I called Mamiya and they didn't give me a very good answer, as they didn't seem to know about the 200mm MF f2.8 lens.

Thanks
Paul Caldwell

Hello Paul. Not sure how much help this will be to you but I have the Mamiya m645 TELECONVERTER 2X N and it fits the 300mm f/2.8 just fine.  I don't own the 200mm but now that I think about it, the person I bought the TC from did use it with the 200mm f/2.8.

Paul - I sold Ron the 2X converter.  It worked fine with the Mamiya 200mm F2.8 APO.
