Many of you may be aware of a third party remote for the D300 as a cheaper alternative to the brand name offering.
I heard about the Phottix cleon remote in a similar forum and ordered the product not having been informed of a recent trend of bad orders and unresponsiveness on the part of the seller.
Myself and others have lost money as a result.
I hope this information will benefit someone.
If fairness to the seller, they have many satisfied customers from the past. It appears to be a more recent phenomenon. I ordered mine in march 08.
