i remember a few years back coming across an advertisement for a software program or plugin (dont remember which) that had profiles that you could apply to your digital images to get a color and contrast effects similiar to NPH, provia, velvia and a whole host of other film emulsions that are/were around.
i have spent the afternoon on the web trying to find it or something that has the same effect.
the closest i came was 'velvia vision':
http://www.fredmiranda.com/shopping/vmv (http://www.fredmiranda.com/shopping/vmv)
but although it allows you to use presets and saved adjustments for many aspects of image adjustment, it does not have actual profiles that 'come close' to replicating film looks.
capture on1 pro has something like this under IMAGE>STYLE>FILM LOOKS, but there are only 2 emulsions there.
anyone know of something that would accomplish what i am looking for? or someone who sells profiles that can be uploaded to photoshop or C1 pro.
thanking you in advance.

Hi John,
Here's a link to some photoshop curves that you can play around with until you find something better. I like the look of a couple of them and they're free.
