I am sampling some canvas products. What media type should be chosen in the printer settings for using an epson 7600 and matt black ink on matte canvas and glossy canvas as well. A lot of sites recommend "enhanced matt", but some others suggest "watercolr radiant white".
Which is the best and why, if you offer an explanation?
Thanks

Download the Canvas ICC Profile if you're not using a RIP. Good luck.

I've printed a couple of rolls of Epson Piezo Canvas Matte on a 9800 and after testing a few different media settings, Radiant White was clearly the best on which to build a custom profile for that paper. I've found that reading profile targets with a Polarizing filter on the spectro makes a huge difference in making profiles for canvas.
