Got Nikon D40x working. Did't manage to get D200 working yet.
Macbook / 10.5.2 / aperture 2
Tethering is pretty fast. A 10mp raw via usb - 4 sec + 2 sec for preview
Fast bursts are ok with my Nikon, I think the camera saves to a card first and then copies the files to the computer.

I'm getting 9 seconds for a D200 15mb file, so a similar transfer rate, but the camera is locking up during that time. I don't do much tethered shooting so I don't have a feeling for what's needed, but my 1.5mb/second didn't impress someone who does a lot, and the lockup would be a problem. Details here (http://www.beardsworth.co.uk/news/index.php?id=P1139).
Have you set your D200's USB mode as peer to peer?

Yeah, I did. The D200 connected to the tether window when in mass storage mode, but the camera could not be used. When in ptp-mode, no connection.
Actually the transfer rate should be the same, both are 10mp cameras... thou I'm not sure if the d40x raws are uncompressed. It's my point and shoot -camera.

Are there any tutorials on how to shoot tethered?
Is it an option in Aperture or is there some kind of Hot folder like the old trick to shoot tethered?
Can some one up more information on how to shoot tethered with Apt 2.0
Thanks
Snook
PS...
I am sure the big guns like my P30 do not work shooting tethered to Aperture... right?
Thanks again
