Title: Zooming in Survey Mode?
Post by: Slobodan Blagojevic on February 12, 2008, 05:40:54 pm
Is it possible to zoom while in Survey Mode, i.e., to compare details on more than two files?

In Bridge, for instance, I like the ability to select multiple files, click on one detail in each of them (thus invoking a loupe) and compare, say, sharpness. It appears to me that in Lightroom it is only possible to compare two files at a time while zooming. Am I wrong?

Yes and No.  While in survey mode you can click on any of the images (but not on the X in the lower right) and then press the Z key.  That opens the image in loupe mode.  Press the Z key again and you are back in survey mode.  Click on a different image and press Z and that one will be in loupe mode.

You can't open more than one image in loupe at a time though.
