Title: The zd back
Post by: jop on January 20, 2008, 01:36:46 pm
Any information regarding the zd back on the Cambo or the Alpa using very wide lenses and shift? For that matter are there adapter plates for the zd so that it can be used on these cameras?

Hello,

I was told by the New Zealand suppler that Mamiya was coming out with a adapter plate in the future so the ZD back could be used on Large format cameras. That's why it has a extra set of terminals on the right side of the chip.

Cheers

If this is really going to happen I would certainly go for it. This would really get me off the fence. I think I can live with the limits of its exposure times but I didn't want to spend the money and be tied to the 645 only as the 67 is of no interest to me. Being able to place this on a technical camera would really open up some photographic opportunities.
