I just bought the 9100 after owning the 8000 for one year. So far there is absolutly nothing to complain about.
It's everything I loved about the 8000 with improvements when printing on gloss/satin surfaces. The slight grain that was present upon close examination in the 8000 is gone in the 9100. The bronzing is gone, and the B/W is wonderful.
Very happy camper so far.
