Title: Wide Angle Lens Rollei Mount for Sinar Hy6?
Post by: med007 on December 19, 2007, 10:38:39 pm
What are the widest lenses form Rollei, Schneider, Zeiss, Rodanstock or even with an adapter that can be used even in manual with the Rollei mount of the Hy6.

The Hasselblad H3 has a 28mm lens, same with the Mamiya. How about this new common platform for Sinar, Rollei and Leaf?

40mm

check out the 35mm thread on the MF board and others

IMO the 66 coverage and implied large mirror is a real problem for the creation of the wide lense on this system

I reckon they are struggling with the 35 - which would be the widest lense ever to cover 66

By also making this a 'film' platform they cannot design a lense like the H28 that is designed to have its abberations sorted in dedicated software

The designers are therefore double ******* at the wide end
