Hi,
I am looking for suggestions for an air travel friendly tripod/head that will fit 'normal' checked baggage and still support a 40D-400/5.6 for stable imaging. My Manfrotto 055 is looking a bit too large to be Zodiac friendly at the other end of the trip.
Any suggestions on 3/4 leg extensions and accompanying heads will be greatly appreciated.
My general choice would be aluminum as I would rather put the expense of a carbon fibre tripod into another lens.
