Pro show gold is pretty good and simple to use, theres also pro show producer (a bit more complicated) if your after something cheap (free) check out russlebrown.com theres a free slideshow script (I think?) and video showing how it works there.  Wayne

Try Picasa from Google.  It is free.  When you burn the pics on DVD, check off the box that includes slideshow and it should work on most DVD players.

For a quick movie make..I started with Windows Movie Maker... then used Roxio software to burn on a DVD. Recently I've migrated to Proshow Standard (it's not pricey at all) becuase Windows Movie Maker gave me an erro after I tried to include lots and lots of pics (about 100) in a DVD. I'm very happ with ProShow and hope to upgrade to Gold soon since it has more features. But I have no complaints on the Standard.  Good luck! -Prismpic...

I didn't think of Picassa, can you add music with that?  Wayne

Hi,

I'm using Fotomagico

http://www.boinx.com/fotomagico/overview/ (http://www.boinx.com/fotomagico/overview/)

Unfortunately it is Mac only, but it can export to Quicktime, HD Video and plain old DVD.

I'd say it is great software, works as promised or a bit better.

Best regards

Erik

I switched to Macs in February. I have a WinXP copy each of Photodex PhotoShow Gold 2.6 (download) and the pro version, PhotoShow Producer 3.0 (boxed version with security dongle and 3.0 download upgrade) for sale. $100.
