I hope someone was non stop video editing while in Madagascar.

Yep - I had my solar-powered Mac with Final Cut whizzing away - all set to Auto - haven't looked at a cut yet but you never know...

Definitely looking forward to an Antarctica LLVJ! When can we expect that one?

In all likelihood there will be two Antarctica issues. The first, due out in the next few weeks, will be of the first Antarctic trip. The second will feature South Georgia (and also possibly the third trip in '09). The photographic opportunities of the first two trips were quite different, so we have decided to make two separate video segments in different issues.

That's only a blink of the eye! In time for the 2d year anniversary! Woohoo!

A "few weeks" from this November 10 posting   seems well passed--shouldn't the new issue be out by now???

There was a follow up post by Chris indicating that the editing (which had been delegeted/outsourced/interned) needed a significant amount of re-work, necessitating resetting of the "few weeks" estimate.

I am still working on the Antarctica piece which required a complete re-edit. I know the long wait is frustrating for subscribers and I am going as fast as I can.

There has been a lot of emphasis on Tutorial video in the past year and that will continue in the future. This meant that in '07 I allocated my time away from the LLVJ and more toward Tutorials. However we are now outsourcing the basic editing of Tutorials and I have returned to the LLVJ. I expect to be able to 'pick up the pace' a bit in '08.

Personally, I have zero interest in the tutorials, but love the LLVJ.  The location features are just delightful and just about my favorite thing to watch, ever.

I'd also love to download issue 13 if you can convert it to download sometime in the next month or two. . .

If not, I may have to spring for the DVD. . .

Not hassling in any way at all...

But.. any chance issue 17 is not far away?

I am pretty keen to see the Antarctica footage. And...

I need a new LLVJ 'Fix'

P.S - I know it will be here.. when it gets here.

It will start to become available as a download within a few days. The DVD will take a bit longer.

I'm rather hoping Chris was snowed in and editing the Camera Raw video.  Any chance it will be ready in a few days as well?

Chris can comment, but a few days? Nope. By the end of the month I would imagine.
