Title: Altering order of folders?

Hello!

I have my folders listed by date; year, month, day, the problem I'm having is that they are arranged in alphabetical order, so the year is in the right order, starting with the oldest but the months are arranged wrong, April is first, the December etc. I can't find a setting to change the folders list to be shown in order of date, is this possible?

No chance - you need to use numbers for months, not their name. Lightroom follows alphabetical order.

That's a bit crap isn't it! Oh well, will have to live with it or change to numbers only.

Best advice would be to change to numbers - it's better in the long term. It's always been rightly considered to be good practice.

I use the ISO date format for my folders: YYYYMMDD, e.g. 20071023 or for better readability: 2007-10-23.
