Title: short mount lens on FF camera
Post by: Clay on October 23, 2007, 01:15:57 am
Has any one ever tried to mount a canon 10-22mm ef-s lens on a canon 12mm markII extention tube and then mounted that on a full frame camera?  Is it possible to use this combination? I'd be interested to know what sort of results  would be obtained.

I'm fairly sure that you'll lose infinity focus and get some vignetting, could be interesting for some unusual macro work?

Not tried the 10~22 but I can confirm that the 60EFS c/w the 12mm extension tube (the MkII version MUST be used) not only works from ~40cm down to slightly greater than 1:1, it also works very well with just a slight amount of vignetting at the ~40cm focus end. It doesn't work well with the 25mm tube though!
