Can a Epson Stylus Photo R2500 be far behind?

Considering that these two printers use entirely different types of ink, no, I don't think that one will necessarily follow the other. I, like everyone else, hope that they finally break the 8-ink printer-head logjam, and that hopefully the next generation will do this.

Meanwhile, the 3800 is a much better printer over-all than the 13" carriage printers for not too much money when considering the difference in ink that is supplied.
