Title: 40d: BG-E2 versus BG-E2 N
Post by: tzrider on September 24, 2007, 04:26:29 pm
(http://www.digital-cameras.com/pic/300x300/02/36/canon_eos_20d_battery_grip_bge2_904.jpg)

My dealer told me the BG-E2 of the 20d/30d (and 10d?) would work
on my 40d or would be different.

Today I took a BG-E2 of my friends 30d and all seem to work well.
Does anyone know the difference between the BG-E2 and the N version ??

Best wishes

Tz

Just found this:

The BG-E2N grip features new sealing material around the battery compartment to better resist water and dust.
The new model replaces the original BG-E2 grip and is compatible with the EOS 20D, 30D and 40D models.
