Title: Rodenstock Apo-Sironar digital on a Cambo Wide
Post by: Streetwise on September 12, 2007, 12:19:57 pm
According to the Leaf tech bulletin from 5/07, a good lens to use on the Cambo Wide DS, Leaf Aptus 65, is the Rodenstock Apo-Sironar digital HR 35mm f/4.

I found a place that will rent me a Rodenstock 35mm digital for the Cambo, but the guy says it's the "non-HR" version.  I also have another place (Calumet) that will rent me a Schneider Apo-Digitar XL 35mm f/5.6, but according to the bulletin, it's more prone to color cast than the Rodenstock HR.

Does anyone have any experience with the non-HR version of the Rodenstock?

Thanks

Dave

i have a rodenstoch apo sironar 55mm (non HR) for the linhof cs 679. (with P45) very sharp, good microcontrast up to f11, huge shifts theoretically possibbe but image quality off center deteriorates easliy even with small shifts.
