I'm loving my Contax 645 and P30 combo, use it daily with absolutely no problems. The only bad thing about the Contax 645 is the low 1/125 flash sync. I shoot outside strobe several times a week and need to over power daylight. So I'd like to know if anybody else is facing this and how did they overcome it. I need 1/400th or 1/500th flash sync. Can I put my P30 contax mount on a RZ67 or a Hassy body without much trouble without having the mount changed???
Please help.

Here is a company in Japan that makes a good product, but difficult to deal with. You will also need the One shot cable and it is a bit dificult to rig. But if you use the grip and some gaffers tape you can make it happen.

Also, you may want to get focusing screen from Maxwell precision optics for you RZ. Makes all the difference in the world.

I've been looking for the same solution with the Aptus 75S back... Steve Hendrix is working on this for me and I hope to hear from him shortly.

Ben,
There is another company that I have heard of but have not dealt with directly. They make several different Phase One adaptors. Sunchai Adapters is based in Thailand. (662)6695425-9 kseco@ksc15.th.com. Sorry, but I don't have their web site.

Hi Ben,
Assuming you're dealing with ISO 100, and 1/125, you could use Neutral Density filters on your lens to stop down ambient.
Here's a 2-stop one with the 72mm rings of the usual contax lenses:

Others have used ISO 50 or ISO 25 if available on other backs.
