Title: hahnemuhle settings with HP B9180
Post by: jkrolleston on August 13, 2007, 03:52:26 pm
Has anyone any suggestions regarding the  paper setting for Hahnemuhle 308 photo rag with B9180 ? When i set the paper option as"photo rag" in the HP menu, I seem to be getting too much ink laid down on the paper resulting in dark prints with lack of shadow detail. The paper options offered seem to be very confusing !

Photo Rag is a somewhat thirsty paper, so I am surprised that you are getting so much ink laid down. Are you printing on the correct side of the sheet?

I will be really surprised if anyone is getting good results with Hahnmuhle Photo Rag on this printer - I have never been able to get decent prints on this paper (with this printer).
