What features will eXposure have that will distinguish it from the updated Capture Shop? Any ideas about when eXposure may be released?

Jerry,
I had an email from Jenoptic a few days ago indicating it will be in beta in September, looking to a release at the end of the year, it is a new software ( I assume the means it is not an updated Captureshop), supports multiprocesor (didn't say how many), and saves all files as dng which will open in Lightroom.

Dear Jerry & David,
Exposure will enter beta-testing phase in September, which should be finished by November. The release is planed end of the year, begin 2008. As David days it, it is not an updated version of Captureshop, but a completely new written capture software which will basically replace Captureshop. It will write DNG files, which can be opened in any DNG compatible application (e.g. LR, CR, etc ...).
I shall publish here and later (am in holidays now) a document explaining in details the features of this new Sinar software.
Best regards,
Thierry
