I really want to know how to do something like this for my daughter's senior photo...

Does anyone here know where I may find an online tutorial that explains these techniques??

Actually... Do you know how to use Layers in Photoshop? You'd just need a bunch of those then, filling for example one with a bit of text, the next one with a bit of a picture, and so on.

As the bottom layer, put some kind of background, on top of that some kind of frame and that should basically do the trick.
