Title: Panasonic L1 - does LiveView support video out?
Post by: martygerman on May 27, 2007, 04:04:17 pm
Regarding the Panasonic DMC-L1 four thirds camera's features ...

Lacking a movable LCD makes certain studio work challenging.

For instance, shooting on a large copy stand shooting large objects with a high camera location.

When the L1 is set to LiveView, does this pass through the video out cable so that the live image can be displayed onto a TV monitor?

Is the video output analog (RCA) or digital (HDMI) and if digital, do you know what the resolution is ... 720 or 1080?

Also, since these controls are all on the back of the camera (also out of reach) can the two custom buttons on the top take over these control functions (LiveView and Aperture Preview).

Thanks in advance!
