After 24 years of state employement, this old photo editor is leaving to attempt a few new tricks. Consequently, the photography editor's job is officially posted--you may view it online here:

The job will be open until JUNE 12, and TxDOT encourages applicants to use the online job application.
Please note, though, that the online application can be a bit unwieldy, so plan to devote a fair amount of time to complete it thoroughly. Pay particular attention to the competencies area, too, filling it in carefully.
Our plan is to have the new editor begin work on July 1, and the new photo editor on Aug. 1. This will allow a little bit of time for overlap since my last day will be Aug. 31.
