Title: Don't understand

I scanned a bunch of old family photos, processed them as psd files and now want to save them as jpegs to create a slide show.  When trying to "save as"  jpeg is not one of the options that appears in the menu as posssible.  Tiff show up but no jpeg.  i don't undrstand why--HELP

In Photoshp try Image>Mode>8 bit
