Does anyone know where I can get a car cigarette lighter recharger for a Canon 20D battery? It is to plug into a solar charger that requires a vehicle outlet to charge.

I did that awhile but I don't get anything that I can actually buy or that works.

there's a Canon "Universal Charger" that charges 2 batteries at once from 110/220 or 12V - check B&H
i recently learned that many diesel trucks have 24V lighters that will blow up a 12V charger (or fuse if it has one)

Try Lenmar Mach IA - also several cheaper Lenmar versions all with 120 - 240 AC and 12 V DC (cig lighter). I used an older version for several years for BP 511 / 512. Newer version offers plates to charge different batteries. In my case a 10D (same batteries as 20 D et al) and G7 / S70. I like the flexibility and simplified logistics.

You'll be better of buying a cheap inverter (12V DC to 110V AC), just make sure is at least 250Watts, then you can charge anything on your car. (Using the regular charger).

This was my thought also. just buy the inverter and use and 110 charger for your batteries plus any other item (computer, cell phone charger etc.) you might need a power source.
