Title: Ricoh GR 1
Post by: situgrrl on May 03, 2007, 01:41:19 pm
One thing puzzles me about my Ricoh and I hope someone can help.

The autofocus system has several modes; snap (fixed at 2m)  pre-focus and old fashioned point it and press half-way focus.  There is a 4th mode that I don't understand though.  When the top LCD displays nothing, it is, apparently in "Normal" mode.  "Normal" mode is, apparently suitable for "normal" photography.  Could someone (perhaps who has a japanese manual?) explain just what "normal" is and when I might desire to use it?

Thanks!
