There is an interesting article on CNet news about a software technology being developed by Xerox that will allow a user to change the colors in an image through the use of spoken commands. I expected to see this type of image processing in 5 to 10 years, but Xerox is saying two years to a product.
Perhaps I need to adjust my time lines. I have been thinking the the future of Photoshop type processing would go in this direction eventually but more along the lines of using thoughts and emotions to process an image. I was thinking 10-20 years for this type of technology but perhaps it will come much sooner.
