Title: Installing ImagePrint V. 6
Post by: Photolandscape on April 08, 2007, 08:49:46 pm
When I insert my Imageprint V. 6 installation CD in my Mac G5 running OS 10.4.9, the icon for the CD appears on the screen, but that is about it. None of the four options seems to allow me to proceed--"Autorun.inf," "Installation Files," "Imageprint Manual.pdf," and "Install.exe (for PC, right?). I have an Epson 4000 (I know, it's ancient but they are still great printers and very cheap when bought used these days), and need to get it going with the new RIP.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The CD has a Mac logo silk-screened on it, though it looks the old OS 9 logo to me. Is that the problem? Do I need to get the software upgraded/updated (I hope not).

Thanks,

The best is to contact ColorByte.  John Panozzo is very helpful and I am sure that he will solve this installation issue for you in no time.
