Title: z3100 Paper types explanation?

Hi all,  Just added a Z3100 side by side with my Epson 9800.

I am curious for those with experience with the Z3100, is there a document anywhere which describes what the "paper types" tell the printer to do?  Obviously these need to selected when setting up a custom paper.  I would just like to know what I am selecting.   Thanks for the help.
