Title: Epson 2200
Post by: peterpix2005 on March 30, 2007, 11:49:31 am
Sorry to ask about  an "old" printer, but I've got to take my 2200 to an island with no stores  and will make about 200 8 x 10 matte prints.  How much ink do I need at 1440?

Thanks!

Peter

Just one set of new inks will do far more than you require.

I would take two sets. Depending on the prints you do, you could run out of just one cartridge while the rest are almost full. I always run through a lot of the Matte Black, and sometimes the Light Cyan and Light Magenta go down quickly, but other times the Light Gray goes down faster. It seems to depend on the colors in the images I'm working with at a particular moment.
