Title: shaky hands
Post by: Candid Camera on March 07, 2007, 02:54:25 pm
My hands shake and  I know you can buy a tripod (but it is restrictive to the type of photography that can be used) or you can brace yourself against a wall , for steadier shots.

Which would be advantageous to me. an [SIZE=14]anti-shake camera body or an IS lense?

I would go with the anti-shake body.  More versitile,  It can be used with any lens.  IS is lens specific.  I just wouldn't use IS on an anti-shake body.

Considered a monopod?  Less Starbucks?

There is a handy method where you fix a string or strap to your camera ... and step on the other end .. the resulting tension will keep the camera just a little bit steadier!
