Title: First pano -- Thanks for the inspiration!
Post by: chilehead on February 16, 2007, 04:13:28 pm
Just wanted to thank everyone here for all the great advice regarding panoramas.  My first attempts at stitching with PS a few years ago gave disappointing results, with lots of parallax problems, so I set the technique aside.

You folks inspired me to try again though, so the other day I did a quick group of shots and fed the processed raw files into Hugin, Panosift, and Emblend.

I am just amazed at how well the Panotools software works.  This was just a quickie handheld photo mosaic of 3x2 images, so excuse the composition; but the way the software fit all those limbs together is impressive!
