Title: Best C1 Pro Forum?
Post by: benedmonson on January 28, 2007, 02:06:57 pm
I'm needing to learn C1 Pro now that I'm shooting a Phase One back and am looking for the best source to learn. Is there a great forum out there to research and catchup on things??? Also, any great resourse to creating your own "Looks" for C1 Pro on-line?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. So far shooting tethered has never been easier!
Cheers,

Ben,
The Phase One user to user has been down for a few weeks now. You may try to visit Alain Briot website, he has an essay about RAW converters with 2 QT movies on Capture One Pro ([a href=\"http://www.beautiful-landscape.com/Thoughts36.html]here[/url]). This will give you a general idea of the workflow. The movies are quite basic, you probably already know all that stuff?

Ben

I don't know if it's what you're looking for,exactly,but if you go to www.phaseone.com
you can navigate to a few Quicktime tutorials under the Support dropdown menu.

The online help is interesting, it shows you what most of the controls do.

I've been camera profiling my Leica M8 with C1, and it's kind of nice. I can imagine that for someone used to it it might be addictive.

Yes I love the software, but just looking for a forum as this to hear people exchange ideas on how to make it better! I'm blown away at the ease of use there is with C1 Pro, not a hitch so far. Tethering my P30 with a 3 year old laptop (G4 1.5Gig 15" w/2gigs of ram) is quick and easy. I'm really interested in finding other looks to download, I will also be recording my own looks for further use.

After struggling with Flexcolor (great results, a bit of a head-twister), C1 seems so simple. Wow. And fast too. Hmm - there might be something to this after all.

Yes, this is the "official" user-to-user Phase One forums.
