Title: content aware tool under Edit

Hello All.

First off--latest versions installed for PS and iMac M1. And GPU is compatible with all categories.

Here's the trouble:

1. select portion of image with lasso tool.
2. under Edit select "content aware tool".
3. window opens, however only Preview comes up and the tool bar shrinks to only a few tools.
4.PS quit a few weeks ago and then restarted with the info that the cache needed checking. But when I checked it everything seemed OK.

Have not been able to find any notice on PS Help or Community. And I see no way to contact an Adobe technician directly.

If anyone has any ideas for fixing this problem please let me know.

Reset preferences; might help.

Andrew,
Thank you for helping.
Went to Adobe. A technician first tried the Adobe cleaner without success. Then went into library and checked and changed some settings. And it's now working fine.
Tech person explained the Preferences got corrupted, but not sure why.
